experience. Instead of a State Of The Art
know how to take xrays. It was a terrible
Would give 0 stars if possible. My daughter was taken to this poor excuse for a hospital because she had gotten very drunk. They put her on suicide watch for absolutely no reason. My daughter has never attempted suicide in her life. She was treated like garbage by all the doctors and nurses. They had done a scan of her brain when she was in the emergency room and found a cyst in her brain that they did not tell her about for 4 days. They forced her to stay against her will for a week. They put her on the cancer floor which was very understaffed. Is this what you do to a suicidal person?(she wasn't suicidal). All they saw in my daughter was dollar signs. They had absolutely no reason to keep her there. I asked numerous times for her doctor to call me and I never received a call. Don't go to this place. They don't care about people at all. All they want is money. I have contacted a lawyer.
Didn't do much....had to take 3 xrays of the same thing....you'd think they would
Awful ER....do they even know what they're doing? Wait time to get in was quick, but stayed there for 6 and 1/2 hrs.
hospital...it seemed like they were still in the 1800's.
I've heard it said that the world has angels that dwell amongst us. After receiving Katie's extraordinary kindness, compassion and love, I strongly believe in those words! God bless Katie for who she is, and God bless the wonderful staff at Good Shepherd Hospital! Dave Schulz
Last Monday, on October 23rd, I had cataract surgery done in my right eye at Good Shepherd Hospital. In addition to my wonderful doctor, Doctor Joseph Kiernan, who performed the surgery, I was most impressed with the competence, kindness and devoted compassion of the staff at Good Shepherd who assisted Dr. Kiernan. But, in particular, I want to give special mention to the pre-operating nurse who met me in the waiting room after my arrival at 6:45 am and got me ready for my surgery. I believe that her name is Katie. I was very worried and nervous at the thought of having surgery done on an eye. I believe that Katie clearly sensed my discomfort and treated me with extraordinary kindness and compassion! She managed to completely set me and my wife at ease.
this hospital has always been good to us....after my husbands recent accident the ER and the ICU did an amazing job bringing him back.
This has been our go to hospital since we moved to the NW suburbs. Have always had a good experience. Most recently I was diagnosed with appendicitis, arrived at the ER in the early evening, was quickly admitted and had emergency laparoscopic surgery later that evening. Late the next day (Dec 24th!) I was released. Kudos to the hospital , staff, and the surgery team for a good experience for an otherwise serious matter.
